Genealogist Amy Johnson Crow came up with this idea in an effort to encourage genealogists to write and record some of their work – to help many of us take small steps to put our work down for others to read and to record of at least some of our family’s history.

Each week, a new prompt is given to get some of us to write and record what we’ve written. 2024 is another year of 52 Ancestors and all 52 prompts can be found here.
